We receive many inquiries from brides about what is the best way to have their gown preserved after the wedding.  Many people believe that having their dress cleaned and packed in acid free paper in a box by a dry cleaner will safely preserve it.  However, the gown is not protected from moisture and other atmospheric contaminants, and in 2-4 years the aging of the fabric is already in progress.

guaranteed for 50 years.  The cost for heirlooming a wedding gown is $150 to $230 depending on the condition of the dress.  Many brides also preserve their veils, garters, gloves, bridal bags, and other keepsakes.  Very reasonable pricing on theses additional items is available as well.  We recommend items be preserved as soon after wearing as possible for maximum
protection.  All heirlooming must be prepaid.

For discolored gowns Heirloomed Memories offers a color restoration service.  They do a remarkable job of restoring aged garments to their original color.  With color restoration girls who want to wear their mother's or even grandmother's
